Today is the official grand opening of Cross Stitch Heroes, our shiny new Etsy store featuring amazing cross stitch patterns! We’ve done our best to make our cross stitch patterns stand out as both easy and fun to make, but also as great pieces of original art that you’ll want to show off to all your friends. We can’t wait to share them with you!
Here's a little about what we're doing:
Cross Stitch Heroes specializes in designing patterns that rock! Definitely not the typical teddy-bear-in-a-rocking-chair kind of stuff. Think more... Marvel characters, movie icons and other great geeklore. And we're making more all the time. In fact, we're planning on releasing a new original pattern every Wednesday (which by no coincidence is the same day new comic books come out). Look what we've put in the shop today!

All of our patterns are "Framing Friendly", which simply means that whether you choose to use 14-count or 18-count Aida you'll be able to find a frame for your stitching at any store!
Here’s a little about us:
Jesse is the pattern designer at Cross Stitch Heroes. He is passionate about pixels. He loves old-school graphics like in the original Nintendo and Commodore 64 games that we all loved. That eventually progressed to making great 8-bit character art. And then soon he realized that his renderings could be even better stitched up. Mix in his love of comics, great movies and other fantastic geeky things and you've got some nifty stitching patterns! We hope you love stitching them as much as he does!
I (Candice) am also quite geeky. I love crocheting, Etsy, comics and exclamation marks!!!!! (Expect so many.) Even though I’m not as gifted in the design area of Cross Stitch Heroes, I can’t wait to update you on all on our current geekery, including our weekly Wednesday pattern release, great music finds, tutorials and a ton of other fun stuff!
